Since 2005, Nichola has created innovative and original art at the Welsh National Opera. Alongside artist and sister Sarah Hope, they have built a rapport and relationship with the Welsh opera company that gives them intimate and inspirational access to the company’s rehearsals. WNO own a collection of the performance drawings. A retrospective exhibition of the WNO drawings was held at the Wales Millennium Centre in 2011. A selection of these artworks will be exhibited at Futures Gallery, Pierhead Building, Senedd in 2020.
The artist has drawn with other companies including Monte Carlo Opera and Lyric Opera, Chicago.
