In March 2019, I drew the premiere performance of WNO’s production Un ballo in maschera. This is an intense score with a dramatic plot. This opera is dripping in gothic. A visual feast of skeletons, masks and the macabre. The colours of my drawings echo the moonlit scenes and dark flair of this opera.
