We drove up to Pontycymer to see Kevin Sinnott and his gallery space Studio 18. We discovered a new part of the world right on our doorstep, I like it when that happens.
It was wonderful to meet him and see the work. I loved the big scale drawing above the large vivid paintings.
I was really taken by the Turkish Baths drawing and studies. Such a beautiful use of line and gesture…my kind of drawing.
